Applying the area component to a volume that splits into 2 after a certain floor

Hello Jaime,
Very useful stuff. I am trying to apply this tool to a design I am working on and I keep getting an error when it comes to the area component and I am suspecting it has to do with the fact that the volume is a skyscraper that after a certain floor splits into two.

So my question is whether there is away to use a different component that would manage to work with the volume I am using.

I hope you or someone else monitoring the questions have something in mind.

Hi, thank you for your response, I closed the volume and I got it to work in the end!
