Hi Alan! Good question, you could use the same component (point on curve), but you have less control over the input. You can't set a specific value, like say 0.563 for instance and with a slider you can, plus you can set the accuracy to a certain amount of decimal spots. This is the reason I used the evaluate curve + number slider, nothing more. Like you said you could use the point on curve component and get the same result, no harm done. Best, Arie
