This is quite difficult to achieve, but not impossible. Before you start to use Kangaroo, try to get your mesh topology more or less close to the final optimized result. You'd have do some explicit modeling at those pinch points, this is the best way to get the result that you're looking for. You could use Mesh Machine besides some manual modeling, for the pinch points to re-mesh it there: https://www.grasshopper3d.com/profiles/blogs/meshmachine-update

When you have your optimized mesh, feed it into Kangaroo and play around with the different forces, use low numbers and gradually increase them to get the best results.
