Unfortunately no. Rhino 6 has some geometry and object types that are not supported in Rhino 5. If possible please upgrade here to Rhino 6: https://www.rhino3d.com/download

If you're not able to do this, no worries, most if not all of the assets are not explicitly needed to follow the course. Also most of the methods, commands and workflows are very similar in Rhino 6 in comparison with Rhino 5, so you can still follow along.
