Instead of discontinuity and average functions, does the area command work same?

Cause I notice the purpose is to find the center point, so are they the same?

Hi Ning,Great question! You&#x27;re totally right, you could use the area component as well to get the center point. The reason I use the discontinuity + average components is because usually, they compute faster. Wen you deal with <100 elements it&#x27;s not that big of a deal, but usually I deal with 5000> elements and then the calculation time becomes an issue. Cheers,Arie
