Is there an easier way to get the outline of the roof? I've spent hours pining over images trying to get the right shape.

Rhino 101- fundamentals of 3d modelling cover the outline of the roof? is an example, we need complex buildings tutorials in rhino (more difficult than villa saboya). Some complex curvy ones, like the zaha ones. BTW love your tuts, but we need more COMPLEX ones please!!!!!!! modeling, CFD, developable panelizing, etc etc.

Hi Ben, I'm happy you like our courses! Have you checked out the Centre Pompidou Course or the Heydar Aliyev Course, those are good as an intro into more complex modeling of free form surfaces. I'm going to update those later when Rhino's Subd solution is out of it's Beta stage. Rationalizing/developable panels I would suggest the Deconstructing Soumaya museum, it goes from the designing of the panels to rationalizing them for construction and as a last step standardizing them into families.

Hi Briaunna! In the assets from this course, a 3D model is included that has the outline already setup. To download the assets simply click on the "Download Assets"-button above the video(s) Good luck! Arie
