Problem with "Item index" node - Not able to retrieve the index of item it simply returns -1.

Question

I have used sequence for alphabetic characters (i.e. A TO Z) and I have used same node and create a character list (i.e. PARAMETRIC DESIGN) and then I have used "ItemIndex" node to retrieve the index from the alphabetic character list but unfortunately, it returns the -1
