Problem with the project point command

Hi!

I did all the tutorial but I have a problem in the beginning. When I use "project point" to have all the points on my loft surface, it does not work well. In fact, there is a part of my loft surface without any points, so it's just a hole without anything. The rest of the surface is alright. I don't know how to correct this so I can have points on all the surface.

Hi Karianne! I believe some of your points you want to project onto your surface are "outside the projection direction" did you move them to one side of your surface first, let's say in the negative direction? Then if you project them in the positive direction  they should fall onto your surface. If some points are still on the "positive" side of the surface, projecting them in the positive direction will not result in them falling onto the surface, this is because of the projection direction.
