it is not clear the step between the roof surface we modeled in the lesson "Modelling the London Aquatic center - pt3" to the next one "Mesh and Subd GEometry". How do you get the mesh of the aquatic center out of the previous lesson??? A step is missing in my opinion. And then, Is it better to work with surfaces or meshes, COnsidering the case of the aquatic centre? Thank you very much

Hey Claudia,
Thanks for your comment. We’ve updated the course with some new modules including the newest features of Rhino 7. One on visualization using the new pbr materials, new lightning and environment possibilities and new cycles render engine. And another extensive one on the new Subd features from Rhino 7.
They’re included in the Rhino Certification Course here:

Rhino 7 was released almost 3 years ago. Any chance the course gets updated?

Hi Claudia,
Thanks for your feedback. The mesh shape of the aquatic center was only to show a different way of representing the roof shape. It's a big big pain in the ass to model as Rhino has very limited mesh editing and creating tools. It was done manually drawing one mesh face at a time and moving its vertices to the right height using the NURBS roof as a reference.
There is some good news, Rhino 7 will come with way more advanced mesh and subd editing and creation methods. I'm going to amend the course focusing more on mesh modeling, when Rhino 7 is a bit more mature. I'm also going to include a visualization module that will go more in depth on visualization and animation.
Best,
Arie
